This is a business-development and product-oriented role for someone who can identify customer problems, generate new AI-based product and solution ideas, and turn them into commercially valuable offerings.

You will work between sales, clients, and technical teams: understanding business needs, shaping solution concepts, validating ideas, and explaining the value of AI solutions in a clear, practical, customer-focused way. This is not a pure sales role and not a department management role. It is a role for someone who can combine business thinking, product ownership, and enough technical understanding to help Proof IT create AI solutions that customers actually need and are willing to buy.

The role is similar to building a startup-like AI solution direction inside a stable and established company. You will have the freedom to test ideas, experiment with formats, shape new offerings, and help develop Proof IT’s AI business potential — while working with an experienced technical team and a strong company background.

  • Develop new AI-based product, service, and solution ideas that can create real business value for customers.
  • Identify customer needs, market opportunities, and business problems where AI, automation, LLMs, integrations, or data-based solutions can make a practical difference.
  • Turn early ideas into clear solution concepts, prototypes, business cases, or client-facing offers.
  • Act as a bridge between sales, clients, analysts, developers, and management — helping translate business needs into realistic and valuable AI solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand problems, present solution ideas, explain business value, and support opportunity development.
  • Shape how Proof IT packages and offers AI solutions to customers, including possible product formats, service models, delivery approaches, and pricing logic.
  • Work closely with technical colleagues to validate feasibility, challenge assumptions, and support implementation without being responsible for hands-on development.
  • Experiment with different AI tools, technologies, use cases, and delivery models to find what has real commercial potential.

We expect

  • Experience in business development, product ownership, solution consulting, product management, innovation, pre-sales, or a similar role connected with technology-based solutions.
  • Strong ability to understand customer needs, business processes, and market opportunities — and turn them into concrete AI solution ideas.
  • Good understanding of artificial intelligence, LLM-based solutions, automation, integrations, data-based products, or related technology areas.
  • Ability to evaluate whether an idea has real business potential: customer value, feasibility, commercial logic, delivery effort, and scalability.
  • Ability to explain AI solution value to customers in business language, not only in technical terms.
  • Technical understanding sufficient to discuss solution concepts with developers, analysts, and architects, ask the right questions, and challenge assumptions.
  • Experience working with clients, presenting ideas, facilitating discovery discussions, or supporting sales teams with solution and value propositions.
  • Ownership mindset — the ability to take responsibility for developing opportunities from early idea to validated concept or customer proposal.
  • Ability to work in a startup-like environment: testing, learning, adjusting, and moving forward when not everything is fully defined.
  • Very good Latvian and English language skills.
  • Previous experience with AI solutions, SaaS products, automation, consulting, product discovery, or technology-based business development will be considered a strong advantage.

  • Salary starting from 5000 EUR gross per month for full-time work, depending on skills, previous experience, and level of responsibility.
